The LOG newsletter

The Log is the Society of Model Shipwrights’ monthly newsletter. This newsletter is the main organ for keeping the Society’s membership informed on models being built and events that are planned such as exhibitions, sailing days and meetings. It also contains articles that deal with research, resources and modelmaking techniques. Laid out below are three examples to give a flavour.

Since 2010 the Log has been available electronically as well as in print format. Members of the Society have access via this website to all these issues of the Log. They have been indexed, the individual articles categorised and all illustrations linked to a word search so that members can access with ease any particular subject, model or author that interests them. It is intended that earlier issues will be similarly made available in due course.
